Homeowner takes revenge against HOA
A homeowner in central Florida received notice in January from the HOA demanding she paint the home immediately. She never doubted the fact that the home needed to be painted. However, she found it rather annoying that the HOA would make such impatient demands as the low temperatures at the time were not conducive for exterior painting. Painting in cold weather can be uncomfortable, but there are other risks associated with exterior painting in cold temperatures. Paint failure due to improper curing is one of the most common and can be a very expensive mistake. Upon receiving the unrealistic demand to paint the home immediately, she obliged and painted it alright, bright enough to be easily seen and to cause people to come from all over the county to come check it out.
