Why Henderson is a family friendly place to live!
1. Family-friendly environment: Henderson is a great place to raise a family. We moved back to Henderson before our kids started high school so that they could attend one of the public high schools here. Henderson has some of the top ranked public schools in Nevada.
a. There are a lot of parks and out door activities. You can enjoy hiking near Lake Mead or Red Rock Canyon, Golfing, walking one of the many of the trails, watching your kids participate in team sports at a park, bring your children to one of the many playgrounds.
Henderson has warm weather almost all year round, making it a great place to live for those who love sunshine and outdoor activities.
2. Restaurants and shopping: Henderson has many great options for dining and shopping and is only a short drive to the Las Vegas strip with many of the top restaurants and entertainment in the world.
a. One of our personal favorites is Craft Kitchen. Our team meets there for our monthly agent breakfast meeting. It serves local and organic unique options.
b. If you like Pizza, we really enjoy Rebellion Pizza in Anthem. They have a Spicy Honey Pepperoni Pizza that they drizzle Mike’s Hot Honey over the pizza. It is unique and delicious!
c. Shopping: The District has many great shops restaurants such as Lululemon, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and Bella Vita Italian Restaurant.
3. Community Neighborhoods: Henderson has many terrific communities including master planned areas. Some of those include Anthem, Seven Hills, Cadence, Lake Las Vegas, Tuscany. Many of those communities have gated communities and there are several desirable guard gated neighborhoods.
Overall, Henderson offers a great quality of life, with a mix of urban and natural environments, and a range of amenities and activities to suit different lifestyles.
