My mom lives in the far Northwest part of town, so I am often traveling across town. Once you hop on the 2-15 you are just 10 to 15 minutes to the Airport and just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It really isn’t bad on the 2-15 as it goes all the way around. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the far northwest. It is also very convenient if you are traveling back and forth to California. Henderson is the first exit off the 1-15 where Summerlin is another 30 minutes out.
I often compare living here to growing up in small town Elko, Nevada. You get the community feel with neighborhoods designed for families or retirees. But when you want to ramp up your lifestyle, the Las Vegas Strip is just minutes away. We just booked tickets to see the Eagles at the Sphere. We enjoy concerts, going to a Raiders game or the Vegas Golden Knights hockey. We like going to the Forum shops or the Fashion Show mall on the strip or occasionally some of the great restaurants like Mother Wolf located in the Fontainebleau.
