Why I Chose to LIVE in ANTHEM COUNTRY CLUB Henderson NV
“Anthem Country Club isn’t just where I help clients find their dream homes—it’s where I chose to call home! Today, I’m pulling back the curtain and sharing all the reasons why I fell in love with this incredible community. From the luxury lifestyle to the tight-knit atmosphere, I promise to give you the inside scoop on why so many people adore living here. Have you ever pictured yourself living in a country club like Anthem?
Reason 1: The Stunning Views
One of the coolest things about Anthem Country Club is how the whole community is designed around our 3-mile loop with natural reserves around that create a buffer between the homes and communities. The open space provides natural beauty so many of the homes have terrific views of the golf course, the Las Vegas Strip, City lights or mountain views. live in Anthem Country Club and love the lifestyle. My husband and I like walking the 3-mile loop with my dogs, getting exercise while enjoying the terrific views!
After our walks, we often sit in our backyard drinking coffee while enjoying our view. The sunsets are amazing from our rear yard—it’s like a postcard come to life!. My husband loves taking pictures of sunsets! It is one of those things that makes living here feel so special. The views create a serene and luxurious atmosphere.
Reason 2: Resort-Style Amenities
We have some amazing Amenities within the community. Social members have access to the gym with yoga and fitness classes, the pickleball and tennis courts and kids play area. We have our beautiful club house with 2 restaurants where community events such as Bunco and fun themed dinner nights are held. The club house has amazing views of the golf course and strip! Golf members have access to the same amenities plus the private Anthem Country Club world-class 18-hole golf course. I’ve met so many wonderful neighbors through the events here—it’s more than just a home; it’s a lifestyle.
Reason 3: Tight-Knit Community
It’s a terrific place to meet friends and enjoy the many social events and activities. We have several friends in the community and have formed lifelong friendships here. You really don’t have to leave the community if you don’t want to. Honestly, I can’t imagine living anywhere else. It is a great place for families to meet other neighbors with kids in the community. When we first moved into the neighborhood we moved onto Plum Hollow. Plum Hollow is Halloween Street in our neighborhood. The whole community pretty much goes here for trick treating. It was crazy. We had thousands of kids come to our home. There were people driving their golf carts and kids lined up. At one point, I looked down and we had kids lined up waiting down the street to get candy. It was so much fun. It was great for our kids. My sons invited their friends and had a blast. Both of my sons met some of their friends in the community.
Living here feels like being part of a big family. Whether it’s a friendly wave at the gate or a chat at the clubhouse, there’s always a sense of community.
Reason 4: Security and Peace of Mind
The community is guard-gated access. We have our resident lane and at busy times there is a secondary flex lane. Residents are provided a transponder sticker that attaches to their vehicle headlight allowing access through the resident lane. Guests must be cleared at the gate before coming through.
But it’s not just about security—it’s about the sense of safety and comfort that comes with it. You will see neighbors walking the loop or playing golf. Whether you’re going for an evening walk, traveling, or just enjoying your home, there’s a real peace of mind knowing your community is well-protected. Living in Anthem Country Club, I know firsthand how much this security means. Once you drive through the gates, you will discover just how special this community is. Anthem Country Club is known for a certain degree of seclusion and privacy, while offering both luxury and convenience.
Reason 5: The Location
We call Anthem the “bubble” because everything is close by. Nearby are some of our favorite restaurants such as Prosecco Italian Osteria, Rebellion pizza and I love Sushi.
Just outside of Anthem there are lots of restaurants down Eastern Avenue. The Saint Rose Square Shopping center with Costco and other shopping which is conveniently located nearby.
The District is a short distance away, offering shopping such as Lululemon, Anthropologie and REI. My husband and I will do date night at Echo and Rig. The weekly Farmers market is fun with small businesses and shops. Green Valley Ranch Station is connected to the District so we will go early and walk around the shops and then enjoy dinner and a movie. We love Hank’s, Pizza Rock and Blue-Ribbon Sushi Bar.
You get the best of both worlds. Living in Anthem, you can enjoy the bubble of the serene, resort-style life—golf, clubhouse dining, the community events—but whenever you want to experience the vibrancy of Vegas, it’s right there. We enjoy some of the terrific restaurants on the strip and seeing a Raiders or Vegas Golden Knights game.
I love that I can enjoy the peace of this community while still being just a short drive from all the action in Las Vegas.
Now with any community there are challenges and Anthem Country Club does have a few:
HOA fees and restrictions: As Anthem Country Club is a guard gated community the HOA fees are higher than other non-guard gated neighborhoods. The fees are $1,063 quarterly. Golf and social memberships are additional and not required as a resident of the community. Currently a Golf Memberships costs $75,000 initiation and $1,270 per month. The social membership is $5,000 Initiation fee and $390 per month.
Anthem Country Club has regulations and rules. Residents must make sure the home’s landscaping and exterior paint colors comply with the Design Guidelines within the community.
Competitive housing market: There is demand for buyers looking to move into Anthem Country Club. Buyers watch for homes to come available in the community. Many homes sell quickly and overall, there is low supply within the community.
Higher maintenance needs. From landscaping to exterior upkeep, custom finishes, and high-end appliances—these properties require consistent care to preserve their value and appeal. Many Anthem Country Club homes feature private pools, outdoor kitchens, and lush landscaping, all of which need regular maintenance. If you’re not prepared for the ongoing costs—things like pool service, irrigation repairs, and pest control—it can add up over time.
While it’s not perfect, the benefits far outweigh the challenges for me. It’s about finding what fits your lifestyle best.
One of the most important things when buying in Anthem Country Club is working with a local realtor who truly understands the market. This neighborhood is unique, and having an agent who knows the ins and outs can make all the difference. I recently just helped two clients find homes here in Anthem that were not listed for sale. Helping clients find off market homes is a huge advantage. As someone who both lives and works here, I have firsthand knowledge of property values, the different home styles available, and how to navigate the HOA process. Plus, I can provide insight into things like which homes have the best views, where you’ll find the most privacy, or what upgrades tend to add the most value.
Another tip—attend community events before making a decision. Anthem Country Club isn’t just about the homes; it’s about the lifestyle. Whether it’s a golf tournament, a dinner at the clubhouse, or a neighborhood social event, getting out and meeting the residents can help you get a real feel for the community. It’s a great way to see if this is the right fit for you and your family. As a social member, I am happy to take you out to lunch at the club house to check it out!
Lastly, be prepared for HOA fees as part of the overall investment. Some buyers are surprised by them at first, but once you see what’s included, you’ll understand the value. These fees go toward maintaining the beautifully landscaped common areas and our guard gated security. The optional membership fees include the exclusive amenities like the clubhouse, golf course, and fitness center. It’s what helps keep Anthem Country Club one of the most desirable communities in the area.
If you’re considering making a move here, I’d love to answer any questions and guide you through the process. Anthem Country Club offers an incredible lifestyle, and I want to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best decision for you.
